Artificial Intelligence and Technology Innovation

In 2015, Kelly Ann and her cousin co-founded Kittr in Austin, Texas. Developed through a Y Combinator program and in collaboration with Twitter’s developer ecosystem, Kittr was the first machine-learning tool designed to predict emerging trends through Twitter data.

The technology analyzed online conversations, behavioral signals, and patterns in social activity to identify topics likely to trend. This placed Kelly Ann among the early entrepreneurs applying artificial intelligence and machine learning to social-media intelligence.

Kelly Ann’s early AI work is also discussed in her 100 Women, 100 Stories profile, which describes her work developing intelligent social-media tools using machine learning.
